That’s what we do every day
Stand with us
Training, tools, and awareness before exploitation takes hold.
Rapid guidance when risk indicators become actionable.
Support pathways built around safety, stability, and restoration.
Our mission was shaped long before ONEKID Foundation had a name. Through years of private investigative work, our founders encountered the realities of child trafficking firsthand — the grooming patterns, digital footprints, operational networks, and families left searching for answers.
They also saw an imbalance. Those exploiting children could have investigators, legal teams, specialists, and resources working on their behalf. Victims and their families rarely had access to the same tools.
ONEKID exists to help close that gap — through prevention, intervention, and aftercare built around the child.
The work that led us here“The standard is simple: if it were our child, we would want every credible resource brought to bear. That is the standard we work to bring to every child and every family we serve.”
In 2021, the U.S. National Human Trafficking Hotline received reports of
10,359 human trafficking situations involving
16,554 individual victims. A significant portion of these cases involves minors.
The U.S. Department of Justice highlights that trafficked children are predominantly
aged between 14 and 17, with many cases remaining underreported.
A 2017 study estimated that Texas alone had approximately
79,000 child sex trafficking victims.
As of 2024, over 320,000 unaccompanied migrant children have gone missing from government tracking, making them highly vulnerable to trafficking.
How ONEKID confronts real-world tactics—and turns prevention into action.
Grooming hides in trusted roles—teachers, coaches, “mentors,” older peers.
We train staff to spot grooming patterns early, enforce two-adult rules, and document and escalate concerns with defensible records.
AI “nudify” and sextortion tactics use fabricated sexual images to coerce teens online.
We guide evidence preservation, notify platforms and cyber units, and provide parents and schools with clear step-by-step response scripts.
Incomplete vetting leaves openings in child-facing jobs and volunteer positions.
Our Staff Vetting Tool standardizes nationwide background checks, verified references, and post-hire supervision with audit-ready documentation.
Disclosures are missed—children may hint once while adults freeze, minimize, or delay reporting.
We train first-response protocol: listen carefully, avoid promises of secrecy, document exact language, and follow mandatory reporting requirements without delay.
“Easy money” lures—cash jobs, modeling offers, or “brand deals” targeting minors.
We educate youth on recruitment tactics, trace network patterns, and route families to vetted safe-work resources and rapid support channels.
Predators exploit direct messages, gaming platforms, and school-issued devices with weak controls.
We provide device and privacy checklists, map predator behavior for coordinated takedown efforts, and assist schools in implementing safer default protections.
Practical, printable tools for hotels, schools, parents, healthcare teams, rideshare drivers, and more—built with ONEKID to spot red flags and act safely.

Timely updates from the front lines—advocacy, prevention, rescue, and recovery in action.
