Organizations completing the applicable ONEKID PROTECT requirements may earn PROTECT Certification through ONEKID Foundation.
Certification documents that the organization has completed required training and adopted the safeguards, procedures, and operational expectations established for its program.
The credential gives leadership a defined standard to maintain and gives employees, families, guests, and communities a visible indication that child protection has been addressed intentionally rather than left to assumption.
PROTECT Certification reflects completion of applicable ONEKID program requirements at the time of certification. It does not represent that risk has been eliminated or that an incident cannot occur.
EARNING CERTIFICATION
A standard should require more than attendance.
ONEKID PROTECT is designed as an organizational program, not simply a seminar. Requirements may vary by environment, but certification is built around preparation, implementation, verification, and continued responsibility.
