Helping Someone Else
If you are concerned about someone
If you believe a friend, child, family member, or another person may be experiencing trafficking or exploitation, there are safe ways to seek help.
Start with trained support
The National Human Trafficking Hotline can help you think through what you are seeing and what next steps may be appropriate.
A few important reminders
- If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.
- Do not confront a suspected trafficker directly.
- Do not put yourself or the other person at greater risk by forcing a situation in the moment.
- Keep notes about what you have seen, heard, or observed if it can be done safely.
